ISBI Was at the 2nd YASAD Software and Globalisation Summit
ISBI took part in the 2nd Software and Globalisation Summit held by YASAD on 26-27 June and explained the support and incentive schemes available for software exports.
We took our place in the programme of the 2nd Software and Globalisation Summit held on 26-27 June by YASAD, a leading representative of the sector.
Under the main theme "Creating a World Brand in Software and Globalisation Strategy", ISBI A.S. took part in a session on the continuing and developing achievements in the fields of software, IT and communication services and on the support and incentives offered for software exports, in which incentive schemes were discussed together with Yildiz Technical University Teknopark and Sistem Global Danismanlik.
The Main Theme of the Summit
At the summit, held under the theme "Creating a World Brand in Software and Globalisation Strategy", Turkiye's objective of growing its software exports was discussed under a number of headings. The sessions addressed productisation and branding processes, target market selection, establishing international sales channels, pricing models and the importance of institutional capacity as well as technical capability in global competition.
Session on Incentive and Support Schemes
In the session in which ISBI took part, support and incentive schemes for software exports were assessed together with representatives of Yildiz Technical University Teknopark and Sistem Global Danismanlik. The discussion covered which support mechanism companies can use at which stage, common mistakes in application processes, and the long-term effects of getting the structure right. The operational and financial conveniences that the specialized free zone model offers software companies were also explained in this context.
What Does It Mean for Software Companies?
Software exports have a different structure from exports of physical products; contract management, intellectual property, data residency and collection processes require separate expertise. A properly designed structure therefore has a direct effect on a company's pace of growth. ISBI aims to bring infrastructure and a consultancy ecosystem together so that companies operating in the zone can manage these processes more predictably.
The Contribution of Ecosystem Gatherings
Industry summits are valuable in helping companies find new business partners, see examples of good practice and learn about the current approach on the public sector side at first hand.
